Hi! My name is Saifunnahar Tonby, and I am thrilled to join New West Charter School as an 8th-grade math teacher. I hold a Master’s degree in Education with an emphasis on inspired teaching practices, which has equipped me with innovative strategies to foster a dynamic and engaging learning environment. As a first-year teacher, I am eager to bring fresh perspectives to the classroom, focusing on making math accessible and enjoyable for all students.
Beyond the classroom, I enjoy spending my time gardening, petting cats, playing games, and reading novels. These hobbies bring me joy and inspire me to incorporate creativity, patience, and strategic thinking into my teaching approach. I believe in creating a classroom atmosphere that encourages curiosity and critical thinking, where students feel empowered to explore and understand the world through mathematics.
