Daniella Hazan
Music
Dani Hazan is a native Southern Californian passionate about music and music education. She received both her Bachelor's Degree in 2021 and teaching credential in K-12 music in 2022 from California Lutheran University. She has been playing flute and piccolo since she was in fourth grade and she previously taught marching band, jazz, concert band, and choir in Northern California. She is also an active member of community bands in the Conejo Valley and Ventura County area.
Ms. Hazan is very excited to meet and work with the talented young musicians at New West! She is looking forward to bringing various performance opportunities and experts into her classroom. She is also eager to learn more about her students' passions and interests and finding ways to incorporate them into her lessons and classroom.
When Ms. Hazan is not playing music and learning other instruments, she enjoys yoga, journaling, hanging out with friends, and playing with her dogs Layla and Luna and cat Scout!
