11th Grade Lead Teacher
Boys Volleyball Coach

Welcome, I am Mr. Dioso and I am in my fourth year of teaching at New West. I will be teaching Honors Calculus A/B, B/C, Trigonometry/Precalculus both Honors and College Prep.

I attended Cal State Fullerton, where I earned two Bachelor of Arts Degrees: Mathematics (Concentration: Probability & Statistics) and Economics. Previously, I have taught at John C. Fremont HS, Huntington Park HS and most recently Los Alamitos HS. In addition, I was a part of the UCLA Mathematics Project which helped enhanced mathematics for inner-city kids and I am an original cohort member of USC’s Google CSMARTS (Computer Science Mentorship for the Advancement of Teachers and Students) Robotics Program.

I earned my teaching credential at Cal State Dominguez Hills and I am looking forward to teaching at such an outstanding school with great students. I was lucky enough to be a part of New West’s first ever graduating class and to see them get accepted into hundreds of colleges and universities. I believe in setting high goals and challenging yourself. Satisfaction is the first step to defeat.

I am very passionate about mathematics. To this day, I still continue to educate myself on higher-level mathematics. In addition, I am the High School Boys Volleyball Coach.
