New West Charter will participate in the statewide earthquake preparedness drill The Great California Shake Out on Thursday, October 19 at 10:40am.

In an effort to make sure all students are safe in the event of a natural disaster, students will practice how to Drop, Cover, and Hold On.

During this practice drill, we will be sending out TEST instructions via text, phone and email as to where to meet your child in an event of an emergency. You will not be required to get your child on Thursday as this is only a practice drill. However, in a real emergency, if phone lines are down, all students will be taken to Stoner Park where you can reunite with him/her.

Please be sure that all emergency information is up to date and your child brings in an emergency kit.
