All high school parents are invited to two important college-related events held on campus next Tuesday, December 19.

Both meetings will be held in the NWC Commons Area at 6:00pm beginning with the College Tour trip informational meeting followed by the Financial Aid presentation.

Parking is available on the school parking lot and overflow parking is available at Cornerstone Plaza (located at 1990 South Bundy) for a discounted fee. Please bring your parking stub to school for a validation. Carpooling is highly recommended.

California Summer College Experience Tour trip
Parents are invited to an informational meeting for the upcoming California Summer College Experience Tour trip. The colleges that we will visit are: UC Santa Barbara, Stanford, CSU San Luis Obispo, UC Santa Cruz, and UC Berkeley.

When not visiting colleges, we’ll visit various popular sites in San Francisco, Santa Cruz, Santa Barbara.

Tour date and cost to be announced.

Priority is given to 11th graders, but students in other grades may join the tour if space is available.

Financial Aid Workshop
For any family considering applying for financial aid, this workshop covers all of the essentials. Workshop will be held by financial aid expert, and former New West parent, Stephanie Hancock.

All 9-12 grade parents and students are welcome to attend. Learn the fundamentals of how to make college affordable including FAFSA, CSS Profile, Grants, Loans and Scholarships.
